Estate Liquidation & Estate Cleanout Services in Ontario
In the event of a death, downsizing, or major decluttering project, managing an estate’s belongings can be overwhelming. Before a property can be sold or lived in again, there is important work involved in deciding how each item will be handled. Estate liquidation refers to the careful sorting, valuation, selling, and distribution of these belongings to maximize their value and minimize the hassle of figuring it all out.

Sorting through a loved one’s belongings is both stressful and time-consuming, especially when you are trying to ensure items can be enjoyed in a new home for a market-valued price. With our trained professionals able to identify value where others may miss it, SWOT Services provides caring and confidential assistance to help you navigate the process.
How Our Estate Cleanout & Liquidation Process Works
Estate cleanout is the physical removal and sorting of belongings, and estate liquidation is the sale of items of value

1
Sort, Sell, and Preserve What Matters
We begin by completing a full inventory of the estate and identifying the items the family wishes to keep.
We then determine which remaining items have resale value and assess whether an estate has enough value to warrant an auction. With our experience and industry connections, we work to help you receive the highest possible return on all items sold.
2
Donate, Repurpose, and Move Kept Items
Once we organize the sale of most items, we sort all donatable items and deliver them to appropriate charitable organizations so they can benefit others in the community.
Our goal is to ensure as much as possible is repurposed responsibly.

We can also assist with any items being moved to another home by packing, transporting, and unpacking the items- supplying all necessary materials.
3
Remove, Recycle and Prepare for Sale/turnover
For anything that cannot be sold or donated, we manage the junk removal process and ensure items are sent to the correct recycling depots or transfer stations.
If needed, we coordinate additional services—such as house cleaners, painters, or carpet cleaners—to help prepare the property for sale or a rental turnover.
